Let Us Not Be Fooled By Flash Advertisements & Read The Labels On Food Products We Purchase & Require Food Producers To Accountability!

In an age where large companies are buying out smaller ones becoming more powerful conglomerates...it is even more important that everyone that means all of you and my William & I read all labels on the food products we buy for ourselves and our families to consume.

Single serving size packages sounds like a great idea helping folks with habit of over eating to learn how to potion themselves.

But as in everything in the public market places...BUYER BEWARE!

Those fancy flashy ads for slimming shakes...games of collecting "Kellogg's Family Rewards Points" off of every box of cereal, carton of individual shakes and protein bars and cereal bars all in one portion containers...

Notice those Fancy labelled Special K    Strawberry Protein Bar Delivers only 10 Grams of Protein but you must consume       15 Grams of sugar to get that minuscule amount of protein &160MG of sodium! 4G of Saturated Fat total of 5 grams of fat!

That's enough sugar and salt to cause hypertension & diabetes in a healthy person who eats these to replace and or supplement their diet on the go when cooking is not an option for their busy schedules which is most people in the United States today if not the whole world!

The FDA should require that such companies stop such misleading false advertisements for folks spend more money...these products are not cheap!

They purchase & consume these believing that they are purchasing high standard well balanced nutrition for themselves and that the single size portion is what they should be eating...

But in actuality...

It is those very products making them over weight and even obeesed causing serious health conditions...Diabetes & Hypertension is just the beginning of their decline because they fell for the highly expensive flashy packages and ads and since everone else is doing it ....

Must be a good thing???

Think again!

Get away from the single serving packages!

Move away from Special K  All Together!

Nor puts you on track for anything good...

It Is Difficult To Eat Healthy When Major Name Brand Food Producers Put Artificial Ingredients and Unhealthy Natural Ingredients In Their Products.

It is difficult enough to form healthy habits within a social environment that encourages unhealthy eating.

The junk food aisle of WalMart, Kmart and Super Targets are often larger and placed in high profile position right as you either walk in or check out.

But have you ever read the label on the popular "Protein Shakes" for healthier living???

There are many different brands from Ensure to Kellogg's Special K....there are many more....

Today we purchased a package of Kellogg's Special K Protein Chocolate Mocha Flavor.

In the store we read only a portion of the label, the parts that are always critical for us...salt content and sugar  content in ratio with the protein potassium content.

We saw that the number of grams of sugar:  18 G was the same as others available for purchase this evening but the salt content was less than others so we purchased them.

Once home however and my husband being the one whose health is challenged and needs them to try to maintain his weight...was drinking one and noticed:     "Naturally and Artificially Flavored."

A respected established company such as Kellogg's has no reason to use artificial ingredients.

No food producer whether Kraft, Post, Kellogg's, General Mills...Sara Lee....Keebler, Betty Crocker,...

I believe that all food products available for sale in our country can healthier than it is and the cost of production is actually less...they have been adding stuff such as salt and sugar to increase their products shelf life.  But since all people want to eat fresh foods...

There exists no reason to add such preservatives in any concentration.

It is not needed because makers of unsalted butter manage to get their product to market and sell it.

Not that anyone should be consuming butter.

There exists no reason any food producer should or needs to use artificial flavors or artificial anything in their products.

My William also recently purchased a jar of Planters Peanuts and we were in shock as we finished eating the contents to read that it contained                   "HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP"!

When we purchase peanuts and even pay higher price for name brand...we expect to have only peanuts with no additives.

We citizens of the United States must band together and demand our Federal Government's Food and Drug Administration to pass as law and enforce more strict requirements on food producers that the entire population of our great country will be healthier and medical health care costs will then decrease too.

I encourage all my readers to take the time to write complaints to both the manufacturers of the products they purchase and tell them that you want them to use whole grain in all bread, cereal, bakery or flour products.   Tell them you want artificial ingredients deleted...permanently eradicated from their raw ingredients supply in their factories.

And while you are at it, write your Senator and Congressmen and Congresswomen....tell them also!

For eliminating harmful food and drinks from our grocery market shelves while replacing them with healthier all natural products will reduce the over all expenses of each American Family in health care...the healthier folks are, the less time missed from employment and from school.

And write our President in the White House and director of the Food and Drug Administration too.

When citizens mobilize in high numbers then and only then can we see change.

Do not give out your vital statistics to every company that says they require them for their programs.

They all say it is just to make certain that no one under age is playing thei games for cash or prizes or in this case just an online account to keep tract of Reward Bonus Points!

Read on....and see that these companies not only retain our information and yours that we give them...they say that they do not sell our information or trade mailing lists...

BEWARE & WARNED!!

There is always some kind of fine print no one pays attention to, some companies do not even put in fine print at all.

Once a certain date period which can vary from company to company...they consider that promise not to share your information null and void.

Hence why my 7 year old address & the old phone number of that address is starting to pop up in places....such as Walgreens.

I did give this pharmacist a new PO BOX mailing address which is in my automatic signature here explaining we are about to move still again.

He did update our information as requested.

Folks be careful giving out your birth date and or Social Security Number.

There are very few things which we must give such information to such as to doctors, hospitals where we are treated, and certainly to drugstore that fills medical prescriptions.

But not for online points when you make purchases.

Protect yourself by acting responsibly and safely.

Write companies which you would like to do business with but refuse to be at risk..

If they do not correct what you request...Please add your smile or sillohette under FOLLOWERS please using Friend Connect.

Then start using the comment section to share your consumer complaints and what you have done about them.

When only one consumer complains they are seen as whiners they do not need as customers.

But when we all band together....they will listen.....eventually some companies will be forced to comply by the courts through class action suits.

Other companies such as Office Maxx and a few others have obliged and given us our Max Perks online account without birth dates.

This is actually material for class action suits against many such companies requiring personal information for online accounts.

When I filled a prescription on November 16, 2013 at a local Walgreens for my husband...and our Pre-Hurricane Katrina Address was typed onto his medicine bottle automatically....Pharmacist nor his clerk asked for an updated address even though this was the first time this particular Walgreens had ever filled a prescription for either of us.

We had gone in there to discuss possibly having my husband's oral chemo filled there.

We have gone in spoken with pharmacist, Ryan, and received god counsel for over counter medical needs in the past.

But this was the first prescription filled.

A pre-operative pain killer for my husband.

But since our old address that we had permanently moved from on February 1, 2007 was printed on his bottle, I know that you retain all personal Identifying information for excessively long periods of time.

And you know that we do have a long history of spending money at Walgreens.

Sad that you too...no different than other large companies who are having to close many locations...due to customer dis-satisfaction,

Walgreens will likely be the next to be added to such list...no different than Winn-Dixie closing their Bogalusa, LA store by January 1, 2014.

I keep busy in between taking care of my suffering Vietnam Veteran husband blogging, Facebooking and Tweeting about companies who either have rude employees seated in high places, or whose policies...such as yours requiring public to place vital statistics in email and websites which put them at risk for fraud regardless what your internet security is because it is the poor who use Balance Rewards and similar programs.

Most folks in the same financial class as us...struggling are not educated as we are and therefore do not understand the risk of giving their vital information on the internet...

For chances are most poor people either do not have Internet Security on their own computer or they have sub-standard low cost security that is not as effective and so....

You are taking advantage of the poor who do not even have the understanding that you are abusing them.

Food Manufacturers Processors Refusing To "Stop Using Enriched Four" & Adding High Amounts of Sugar & Salt to Products Are Causing The Health Deterioration of America!

Americans can blame their poor health in part on the food processors of this country.

When it is impossible to purchase milk without great amounts of salt added to it...cereals & breads too have either very high amounts of sugar and salt...and are often not whole grain....folks who want to eat healthy are not able to.

1 Cup of "SHUR Fine Brand"Lowfat1% Milk which was purchased at Bohning's Associated Food Stores of Ponchatoula Louisiana has 125 MG of salt in it.

Certainly some salt is natural it is an animal product.

But if you read the label on every brand of milk in whatever grocery nearest you...

You will see that the amount of salt in milk is all over the place.

Some dairies put less than this other quite a bit more than this.

I have seen milk with over 200 MG of salt per cup so you know they are adding salt hoping people will drink theirs like the taste & they will become addicted to the flavor of their unique salted milk instead of someone else's....makes theirs taste better!

When President Obama was elected for his first term, I was impressed that First Lady Michelle early in his presidency made a pitch to WalMart with a bunch of children in the background to lower the prices of fresh fruits.

For starters those prices did not last very long and since they are purchasing fruit and everything so so cheap over seas....farmers are not making enough to survive so they either picking too soon or too late and the fruit is not good....

There must be a frenzy down in those poor Caribbean & South American Countries to pick fruit too soon that typically much simply will never ripen on ones window sill....it rots before it ripens...

While other things get to market so over ripe that bananas are seeding.   And this...getting to market too late could be fault of the transportation....

Such as truck drivers who may lolly gag along part of their routes then REALLY PUSH on the highways later on....to make up for lost time!

We have all recently seen how some truck drivers are no longer the safety conscience polite drivers showing road courtesy anymore...we have all seen big trucks toppled over along highways in recent years because they were driving too fast...

Recently my husband & I saw one SPEEDING on the on ramp of I-12 in Louisiana coming from behind us just inches from our bumper...my husband pulled to the right side of the on ramp as dangerous as it is to pull over on a ramp....it would been more dangerous to have a large truck on our bumper going 45miles an hour he was trying to press my husband to on the ramp.

 I emphasize SOME truckers because we slept in our van long periods in truck stops in the past and found that most truck drivers act & live more respectfully and admirably than some college graduate professionals such as attorneys, physicians nurses or teachers today.

For the truckers bathrooms that I used...women's & my husband said the same for the men's trucker bathrooms...

They were far cleaner & neater than most church bathrooms we have used.

 And back to the fruit that got to market old....

We nearly broke our teeth biting into a Mexican banana that was seeding because it took so long to get to market....the center of the bananas had hard pieces....seeding.

My husband & I have noticed in many stores and businesses including WalMart, KMart,, Winn Dixies  some employees working very hard while other employees just stand or sit around socializing doing a bunch of nothing.

Late today in the Hammond Louisiana WalMart we noticed a senior woman about 55-65 years old push pulling a dolly placing under a high stack of pallets of can goods down aisle to stock shelves.

Strange that management of any store would place a female to that task at all.

From  a  standard of ethics such things should never happen and from a spiritual stand point any company who abuses their employees and customers by charging high prices to pay for labor salaries for people even some managers who do nothing in carrying the weight of work needing done...

Upon the backs of consumers in higher prices....

Such companies will fail!

You will not see our government bailing out WalMart the way they did the banks!

And if you think "Obama Care" is too costly and will never work....

If only you could perceive what a high percentage of diabetics & Hypertensive and heart patients would not suffer their health conditions if food processing companies were not putting so much junk including high amounts of sugar & salt in everything from bread, milk, fruit juices now have a tremendous amount of both sugar & salt added to them.

Take a look at Kellogg's Rice Krispies 11/4 cup dry has 190 MG Sodium and 4Grams of sugar!

Add milk and who can eat it without raising blood pressure and pushing someone who is pre-diabetic over the edge into diabetes.

And what about Kellogg's Special K Protein Shakes for patients who cannot eat enough.

The milk chocolate variety has 220 MG of sodium. and 18 Grams of sugar!

Wonderful potassium level but my husband who needs such drinks for the protein & potassium cannot drink these without his tinnitus ear ringing going very high.

Come on folks...we all must complain to manufacturers of all products we enjoy eating that could be produced healthier but the companies are either too lazy to change the way they do things or they just do not care....

They say salt is a preservative...but no one wants extra preservatives...we want to eat fresh food....

And when food is brought to market promptly, not raising prices even more because you have complied with consumer demands...

Everything will sell fresh be eaten fresh so the cost of the preservatives is actually an expense that you can delete.

People will be healthier health care costs for all companies in insurance benefits, sick leave & loss of productivity...all will go down making the bottom line for everyone better.

And then maybe our Federal Government won't be printing more & more money causing the value of our dollar to go down further to pay for the disease that food producers have caused.

I am Spiritually Intrigued That Our Lord Used A Grain Of Wheat...not a Grain of Rice nor an Onion Rolled!

Our Lord used the image of wheat so many places to mean different things!

We are first told that we like a seed grain of wheat must fall and die to ourselves....That a grain of wheat remains only a seed unless it is planted and no longer remains a seed...but watered beneath the ground shall sprout into an abundance of grain...

When we choose to die to what we desire and be for another what he or she need...
It is in this kind of sacrifice we plant into anothers life...

GOD sees and not only multiplies but raises us up...
But why did GOD use the image of wheat grain and not a kernel of corn or of rice with which HE could have said the same things.

Jesus also said to let the wheat and weeds grow together...do not seperate now but later at the HARVEST Time...That not one stalk or even one piece of a wheat crown be lost or tossed out with weeds that some might choose to pull now!

The final harvest is sooner than anyone thinks! 

No amount of money in anyones bank account will assure them a place in the line that is ushered through HIS Pearly Gates at this time!

Those who have had more than enough...who have been overflowing with much more than they need for themselves and their own families...

These soon and very soon will be stripped of what they have down to nothing and will find not just their bodies naked, but their souls lost and stranded.

They will want then to give all that they have for the PEARL of no price whom they rejected when they chose to keep their wealth for themselves.

Soon and very soon there will be no more chance to give freely & joyfully...
Once one is stripped and judged there will be no pleasing nor assending to sit with HIM and HIS Father & Mother...

But Eternal Flames wait for those who manipulate, not love their son, daughter, sister or brother!

Who are your son, daughter, sister or brother?

Each and every single one whom I sent you asking you for any good thing that you refused or tried to use to abuse!

Yesterday was the BIG Day UP Down and ALL AROUND

Yesterday was my scoping... from both up and down...
They actually put me to sleep for this...
It was first time anyone ever went down into my stomach.

I had two colonoscopies before... first in 2003 and later 2006...  but never from the mouth down.

I was not exactly happy about being put to sleep...
Previous colonoscopies they wanted me awake and able to talk to them...  "so that they knew I was okay!"  Or so they said back then!
I was fortunate that a close friend who is now we consider her a sister...  Theresa stayed at medical facility with my Billy...  It was great... she is an RN even though she has not practiced .. been employed in nursing for a while..
She knows my doctor well and she helped me in hospital prep for it!
She stayed with my Billy out in waiting...  This made it so much easier for both of us!

CT scans had not shown diverticulis...  but he saw thee small mild ones... I thought I had some again.

He has not yet said anything about the galstones in CT scan.. 
He took a scraping from my stomach and said that my stomach did not look like I am truely allergic to wheat... But that there are a large number of persons....MANY who have wheat intollerance!

I will never eat wheat again no matter how my lab test comes back!!

I still feel a bit of symptoms but nothing like what I have felt my entire life!
I believe that because almost everything in supermarkets have at least small traces of wheat...  not just cereals, breads, cakes and cookies!!  Check out canned gravy, sauces....  check out everything in your pantry!!

You'll be shocked!!
Zap that wheat from your pantry and table...  and from your diet forever...

I guaruntee after time passes you will feel so much better than before...  even if you never noticed stomach or Tummy problems....

So see you never again sifting wheat...  but poosiblt Rice instead!!

Only 5 Days Without Wheat or Gluten and Feeling Much Better!!

Today was hardly the average day!  My husband, my Billy-Jacob, took me all day to doctor appointments and I have been scheduled to be scoped from both ends on Friday.

My CT scans show gal stone on the lining of my gal-bladder which doctor said nothing about.  I read it myself!

But I will have chance to ask more about that!!

But for now I am happy happy happy to report that horrific symptoms for a long time... two years or more are settling down just after removing wheat and gluten from my table and menus!

I no longer use wheat flour even to thicken anything such as a gravy!

I find it very interesting that Jesus used both wheat & weeds to represent so much!

HE taught us to sift the wheat from the weeds that we not waste... that wheat is not thrown out with the weeds.

But HE also said "That until the grain of wheat falls and dies..."   HE could have used any grain to describe dieing to oneself...  Why did he not say: "Unless the corn kernal falls... or Until the grain of rice falls and dies... it is only a grain of rice...  

But JESUS chose none of those, but used only the grain of wheat as a symbol.

I believe it is because like in the old testament meat of certain unclean animals were unfit to be food,
Likewise GOD knew that wheat also can be unhealthy certainly in the proportions that are eaten in todays society.

Now I would like to see these companies making gluten free foods also eliminate the salt! 

We are to be the salt of the earth OURSELVES!!  
Spreading HIS Love!  HIS JOY through our smiles and generosity!

Forevermore All wheat gluten or salt better never again enter this house.... Amen!
